Confessions of a deadbeat blogger

I can't believe it's been almost a week since my last post.  I must confess I've been taking a bit of a break this week to hang with my peeps!  Even Pre-K gets a break at Spring, & we've had a busy week running from one activity to the next.
We checked out the newly renovated Fort Worth Children's Museum.

Me & 20,000 other people had a great day,
learning & exploring the new exhibits.

After a long cold winter it was nice to get outside,

get those bike tires pumped up,

& take our 'babies' to the park.
And then.....

Mother Nature played a dirty trick on us!!  It's crazy to think that on Friday we were enjoying 70+ degrees & Saturday it snowed!?!  What's up with that?

Oh well, that wasn't going to put a damper on our festivities.  Yes, Owen is wearing Lily's boots.  In our house you just grab what you can!

From skateboards to snowballs, we had an awesome Spring break.  So now you know why I haven't been around much this week, but I'm pooped!  I need these kids to get back to school so I can get some rest.

Tomorrow I'll draw the winner for my give-away, if you haven't entered it's not too late!

Yep, welcome to Texas!

And good for you, sometimes being a "deadbeat blogger" just means that you're giving priority to those things which are REALLY important in life!

Welcome back!

Lisa, you must take all the time that you can while they are young because before you know it they
will be grown! They are precious.
Now, back to work! We want to see and hear more.

Geez Lisa, taking care of your kids is kind of a lame excuse for not blogging.

But it was fun to see a picture of all of them together- what cutie pies.

I haven't gone back far enough in your blog archives (I think you called it your goob phase)- to see your kids all together.

Same thing happened here with the weather- I had the air conditioning on in the car on Friday, 5" of snow on Sat.

Hey sweets!!!! I'm so sorry I missed your call!! Even though I've been sick as a dog I've kept the road HOT!!! But finally tonight I'm beginning to feel like myself again. Your "Peeps" are PRECIOUS!! Look at how grown up they look!!! I've done the museum thing here in Atlanta and it was a "hands-on" place. But all the crazy daycare folks were there as well and let's just say we didn't get much "hands-on" experience!!! I heard that you guys got snow, how weird is that??? I'm sure it will be gone in a flash and will be 70 again by next week, right? BTW, I'm getting a blog makeover by our sweet Karen!!! I love yours and didn't even realize that she did it!!!! Have a great week and please try to call again, I'm an awful "caller", hugs and love, Dawn

I'm glad the snow is gone! I'm ready for spring to stay here and winter to leave until after the fall. But here in Texas you never know. Love the pics of the peeps! Glad all of you had fun last week, now we can have some Tuesday. I'm looking forward to it.

Lisa there are cute kids out there and then there are REALLY cute kids out there! These are some seriously cute kids!!! I'm so glad you took a break for these smiles. There is nothing more important than this! I know after a Spring or Christmas break, I always did the happy dance, once the kids got back on the bus that first Monday morning after. (I can't believe I just said that in my 'out loud voice')
Enjoy your week.
hugs

Hi Lisa, I'm sure you had fun with your kids even though it had been a bit exhausting! I can't believe you had snow again. The weather had been just crazy lately but hopefully the sun will prevail soon again.
Hava a wonderful week!

Oh Lisa,
You have such cuties... and I am surprised you ever have time to blog! lol! Too funny re the boots.... WOW! you think it is warm and you all still have jumpers on! And that snow is just soooo beautiful... but that may be because we never get it here...:) But sometimes I would gladly swap the heat... yeah I guess life is always greener on the other side... but I never tire of looking at gorgeous pics of the snow.. it is so magical somehow....
Glad you and the peeps have had such a lovely week together!

Hope the snow is gone for good. Not to be a downer, I can remember, years ago, when it snowed on Easter Sunday......and I remember February's were like June. I'm in SW IN, so both are odd circumstances.
Glad the kiddo's had fun outside.

Your kids are soo cute! I need to take the grands to the children's museum again but gosh, I like them so much better when it's one on one. You should look into the butterfly exhibit @ the botanical gardens...it was awesome!
