My cool friend

Christmas just brings out the mush in me so when I saw the January Romantic Homes with my best bud Anne featured, I knew I wanted to post about her.
She's got a big heart & a generous spirit.
Always giving 'shout outs' & featuring many of us on her blog.  She visits every blogger who leaves her  a comment, plus some.
That's no small feat when you get as many as she does!
That's just Anne, she's cool like that.
So here's my little dedication to my good friend,
& Sergeant-At-Arms

 The first of many features.
We became pen pals when Dawn introduced her about a year & a half ago.  Then we met in the flesh at Paper Cowgirl in June & it was like we'd known each other forever.

I feel like a dork writing a feature about someone
so popular in blog land.
You already know she has a darling new farmhouse,

& that she takes amazing pictures.

I started thinking to myself, is there anything I tell you that you might not know.
10 little known facts about
1. The iconic straw cowboy hat...never wears it, not even hers!

2. She has great taste (ok, you know that) but did you know she can  smell out the best deal at a flea market?
She uses that charisma of hers on vendors far & wide.
She is pretty thrifty when it comes to throwing down some cash for ironstone.

3. Her husband is totally devoted to her, & is as funny as she is.
4. If I was going on The Amazing Race, I'd take her as my partner.
5. She's got some pretty big dreams & I can't wait to see them all come true.
6. She is English, she's lying to you. She is actually Rachel Ashwells black sheep little sister.
7. When her & the Mr are bored, they like to dress up the dogs & take blackmail pictures of them.

8. She's got some flowery language.
9. She's a budding artist.

10. She's very driven. When she sees something she wants she goes after it with gusto!
I predict 2011 will be a biggie for Miss Twig & I plan on riding those coat tails for as long as I can.
BTW, have you entered her giveaway?!
(this post should guarantee me at least 3 entries)

I'm buried in holiday mayhem but I plan on posting one more time before the big day, so I'll wish you Merry Christmas then.

Hey Lisa, great post on Anne. You two are both a hoot!

I just love that you taught the kindergarten kids how to make paperbag scrapbooks. That is totally awesome. Heck! I love making them myself and my friends love getting them. In fact, I think I might have to start a few now while we are on winter break.

Your family photo turned out great.. I know how hard it is to get my boys to smile nowadays. Kids will be kids! Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays. Best wishes, Tammy
