More Christmas House & My Give-Away!

Can you believe it is 3 days until Christmas???
Are you ready?
I'm done buying, but still making!

You still have time to enter my Christmas Give-Away.
If you'd like my holiday cone just comment on this post!

On with my Christmas house tour.
Today I'm showing you our master bedroom.

Until Santa drops a big pile of Bella Norte under my tree I'll be settling with old chenille & muslin pillow cases.

Family photos are so important to me. If there's ever a fire I'd grab my pictures second.

I turned an old child's apron into a pouch for the top of my bed.

My Mothers baby shoes & other treasures in a bowl.

A pair of beautiful old stockings.
I started collecting them a couple of years ago, I'm up to 3 pairs!

Our wonderful secretary was a gift from my dear friend Judy. It was her Mother's & no one wanted it, can you imagine!
She is a precious friend to me & a surrogate Grandmother to my kids.

My Grandmothers high school portrait, her bible & one of my altered books.

I found the old violin & painted it white after seeing one last year at Ann's house.
The old french music card is from Corey Amaro, I had the pleasure of meeting her one year at Marburger.

This area off the bedroom is actually our back porch.
Since it's a covered porch I was able to hang a curtain rod & create a tiny room.

The kitchen window looks out onto the porch, so at night it's really magical!

This is our bathroom. I'll bet your thinking
'gosh this girl is always showing the toilet'!
My house isn't that big tho so I have to take advantage of every inch of space.

The picture above was taken at 6am so the lighting is weird.
I swiped this picture from Lori's blog.
Thanks Lori!
The crocheted valance came from Warrenton last year.

Clutter.

The hanging cabinet cards was an idea I got from Tina.

Another collection, white beaded bags.
This is a wall in the toilet closet.
I used to sell real estate & they really call it a toilet closet!

Tomorrow I'll finish up the house tour & announce the winner of my Christmas give-away.
I was going to draw the name on Christmas Eve, but I kind of have a feeling we won't be blogging that day!

Last week Lily & her pal Caralyn (Cami's Grand) went to
Jennifer Babcock's mini art event,
Christma - licous!
They're starting their own junior art posse!
It was a really sweet day. They made crowns, pink trees & a bracelet that Lily is modeling.
I think she may have a future in game show modeling.

Tuesday night I hosted a little craft night get together with some friends.
I made massive sugar cookies & goodie bags.

These clay ornaments are all over Pinterest, they were very easy!

Cami & Jenny,

Charlene & Jan,

Cami, Cindy & Melissa laughing at one of Nicki's jokes.
We didn't make much art but we polished off some wine!

Charlene used some of my findings & whipped up an amazing necklace in about 30 minutes.

I have been so inspired by every ones blogs this season.
So many beautiful homes!! I will be joining Debra's party Friday to see more!

Happy Holidays!

Oh mylanta girl...I don't know where to start.
First...everything you touch is beautiful. Doncha know that by now?
Second...forget measly game shows...that's a Miss America wave if I ever saw one!
Third...is it possible you were traumatized as a child during potty training? Just checking! Girl...my one "toilet closet" is so tiny, it qualifies as a broom closet.
I remember that valance. I don't know which you were more excited about...the valance...or being at Warrenton.
Now...have I kissed up enough to move my name closer to the top when you go to draw one out...'cause I can lay it on even thicker and still not say enough about how great you really are?
Finally...
Merry Christmas darling to you and your whole beautiful gang!

Beautiful! I love all your pictures! If I had a house like that here in the Philippines, it would be a lot dusty! For some reason (pollution?) we have more dust here! A blessed Christmas to you and your family! Patsy from

Will you PRETTY PLEASE head down this way and help me style my house?

Everything is so pretty! I found a top to a desk like yours and was positive it would fit on top of my Grandmother's little desk, but measured and it was too big. I bought it anyway!! It has a nice home, but will be even better when it gets to sit on something prettier than my daughter's table in her bedroom. I'd declaring that next summer is for ME...and all my UFO's. Life happened the past three summers, so I'm ready for a peaceful time. Merry Christmas to you and your family.♥♫

Your bedroom is so dreamy, Lisa! I could move right in. I love all the white linen and laces you have used as well as all the pretty vignettes and decorations. Your covered porch is wonderful too and so is your bathroom. What a lovely collection of white beaded bags you have. If I ever visit you, you should check my luggage when I leave, LOL.
It's obvious that you girls had fun at your craft night. The clay ornaments are just beautiful and your snowflake cookies look so yummy.
Hugs,
Julia
