A Day Late

I wanted to link up with Debra for Vintage Inspiration Friday  so bad!!!
As usual I'm a day late & a dollar short.
I've  been spending every free minute working on my lessons for Artful Pages 4 Artists/4 Ways.
Here's a peek at my class, Altered Fabric Books.

My class begins Sunday,
Oh well Debra, I'm linking up anyway!
Last week Lori & I went to Canton, it was AMAZING!

It was my first time to see her new location.

Beautiful,
vintage,
inspiration!

I didn't know where to look next.
Sensory overload.

Every corner,
every nook & cranny.

was perfection.
It's like French farmhouse,

meets industrial chic!
Love this!
What a great new way to use bed springs.

And the salvage!
It's amazing how she has elevated a regular store front,
into a thing of beauty!

Just as I gained my composure....

we landed here!
Girls Gone Junkin, what a great place to land.

Such great displays,
Such great stuff!

Deidra, Cathy & the girls are such sweeties too!
I loved this banner.

Lori loved this jacket, her van was loaded up so tight by the end of the day. We looked like the Beverly Hillbillies!
Whew, I'm exhausted from uploading photos. I'll save my haul for the next post.
Hope you have a great weekend.
We're heading out of town for spring break.  Yeah! Going camping in hill country!

MY EYES MY EYES,
I think I have gone blind or crossed from the beauty and trying to see each and every little thing.
I think I would have just been walking in circles not knowing what to land on.
Whoosh, that is a lot of stuff to take in.

Lisa, I just love your creation for the Artful Pages class. Such joy, you know :-).
What gorgeous places to shop! I hadn't heard about Canton and googled it. The tradition of these First Monday Trade Days sounds interesting. I learned that they swapped for instance dogs and donkeys on those days in former times. Well, I guess I prefer the modern version :-). Besides all the neutral colored beautiful items, I also love the pink chandelier in the entrance of "Girls Gone Junkin". It will be fun to see what treasures you brought home.
Enjoy the spring break and have a great camping trip, sweetie!
Hugs to you,
Julia

Lisa, I was gonna ask you if you took your checkbook or credit card and then you used the word "haul" so I guess you did! LOL! Oh...I can see how some damage would occur to the bottom line in these photos!! Such inspiration!
And....so's your book!!!
Hugs, Diane

Oh my!! Both places are amazing! I'm so far behind on Artful pages. Work and kids sports happened to explode at the same time in past three weeks. I'm glad I can follow at my own pace. SO looking forward to your project and having time to read and play.

Wow Lisa! I love these shops!!! I have such a hard time using restraint in shops like this. Then I go through buyer's remorse. I'm pretty sure sure if I went in there I would never recover.hehe

I love your gorgeous art page! You certainly are 'da bomb when it comes to collage!

I couldn't believe how gorgeous your altered bag you made in the previous post was. So worth dipping into the good goods!!!!

Hi Lisa, so glad you stopped by for a visit.... I really enjoyed meeting you too, and getting to visit with you and Lori! Hope y'all make it back next month... the next few months should be really good months to shop, before the weather get's to hot! Oh and don't worry about your post, I'm really glad your not using that picture, I just don't like any of my pictures anymore! Your pictures of the store turned out wonderful. Next time you come to Canton bring your material and I will get you a purse put together!!!
hugs~~~ Daphne

I'm jealous! Especially, when, this time of year, sales aren't plentiful enough, rain is plentiful enough, and you read blogs that show all the wonderful stuff other people are finding lol. But spring is coming, so I'll just keep on admiring. Actually, I'm thankful you share, just to keep us all inspired!

Looks like a great weekend!!! I've been to Girls Gone Junkin a lot, but haven't seen Laurie Anna's before. Now I have another stop to check out next time. Is it actually in the Canton flea market area, or an outside shop?
