Telling on myself

When I got back home yesterday I discovered I'd won an Honest Scrap Award from Kathleen at Faded Charm. Even with my busy schedule I make sure to read her blog everyday, Kathleen's pictures and posts always inspire me . The rules are as follows; I am suppose to tell you 10 honest things about myself and then pass the award onto 7 bloggers I admire. Then they are suppose to link back to the presenter, and pass the award onto 7 more. I decided I'd pick bloggers that I've never met in person, so here I go.

1. I really believe in miracles. I knew for years that my life would not include the joy of children and had accepted that fate, until God decided he had a different plan. My children are a true miracle.

2.I have an irrational fear of flying.

3.I am addicted to Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra ice cream, magazines & reading blogs!

4.I have a crush on Johnny Depp. My husband knows, I don't think he's worried.

5.I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and miss it every day.

6.I can sing every song from High School Musical 1, 2 & 3 thanks to my son Owen.

7.Lilies’ are my favorite flower; I carried them at my wedding and named my daughter after them.

8.I cried when they cancelled Country Home, Cottage Living & Mary Engelbreit Home Companion.

9. My biggest dream is to see my art on the pages of a Stampington magazine.

10. I am my own worst critic, I'm working on that.

Can any of you relate to those??? Okay, I'm passing this onto to some bloggers I'd like to learn more about.

Jena at Not So Shabby

Sheila at Halo Hill

Karen at My Dessert Cottage

Cindy at Stitches - N - Stuff

Dorthe at Den Lille Lade

Becky at Sweet Cottage Dreams

Karla at Karla's Cottage

Oh, thank you new friend. I am soooo excited. I never win anything, this means so much to me.

I need to find out the rules again from Faded Charm, I guess. Then when I get back I'll go to work on it.

Thank you again. You've made my day.

Thanks for stopping by Ladybug Creek. Nice to know someone else gets all mushy over someone's cookbook. I am just like you! The more clippings and notes in a cookbook in an antique store, the more I feel the need to rescue it. Shame on that family for letting it slip through their fingers. Poor woman must have had all sons! (Yikes! That's me!!)
I laughed out loud about Johnny Depp. Me too... and my husband couldn't care less. Oh well... ;-)
Triplets. How do you even have time to sit down to look at a computer much less blog? But you certainly do a great job at it. I am really enjoying it. Thanks for the tip about the other blog to check out.
Hugs,

Hope the kids are okay soon. I've got the other tin ready for you. You can have it the next time I see you. Can't wait to see what you did.
Take good care of the kiddo's and yourself. Try to get some rest if that is possible.
Hugs, Pat

I shed a tear when those magazines went out too. I also miss the Country Style show on HGTV....they've never gotten one like that one since then. Doesn't anyone have any taste on that network???lol

OH Lisa,

Thanks so much! How inspiring and wonderful you are and I enjoy your blog so much! I especially enjoyed the recent pics from ZAPP HALL. What beautiful booths and pics you captured! I promised my MIL we would go next year so you have even gotten me more excited about it! Again, thanks for the reward and I do hope you have a wonderful weekend!
