Lucky me, so I'm passing it on

I am so lucky, not only do I have an AWESOME mother in law who supports me in every way, BUT....she's a world traveler...AND she knows me so very well...AND she never comes home empty handed.
She just got back from China and brought home some wonderful goodies.
She knows I am bird crazy, so she found this great book of classic Chinese paintings.

Love the vivid colors.

This one is called 'Early Spring'. Love the cherry blossoms.

In between visiting Beijing & the Great Wall, she discovered a little shop that sold fabric remnant's. Check out these amazing silks!

I can't decide which side of this black & bronze I like best.

All of them in my favorite colors.

Yeah, she knows me pretty well. I'm going to have fun playing with these. Thanks Sandy!

I love digging through piles of old photos at antique malls. I found these beauties in my friend Barbara's booth at Grapevine Antique Mall. These are sweet & funny images friendship, so I'm passing them onto my blog friends. Use them if you like.

I'm going to use them in a project from Artist Class, presented by Beth Leintz. Pretty gift tags in an altered tin box.
I wanted to show you a picture, but blogger is giving me fits. I can't move my pics around.

What special treasures, and from your mother in law, that's even more special. I am falling all over that material girl. I can't wait to see what you do with that.

Have fun!

Yes, lucky you! Most families do not understand when we "follow our bliss" and hope we will come to our senses in good time. Ha-haaaa!!! :)

Your MIL sure has good taste.
What lovelies!

I also want to say that you cracked me up with your comment about me singing karoke in my pj's with a latte in one hand and a snickers bar in the other!!! Love it, cause that would be a dream come true.
