French Love on a White Wednesday

I have been a real White Wednesday slacker the past few weeks. It may have been the holidays, or possibly I ran out of white items to show you. So I took a break and today a flash of inspiration met me at the mailbox. I got the new issue of Maire Claire Idees! So today I am taking you to France.  Kathleen has done a super job with this party, so if you like what you see here, check out Faded Charm for other participants.

This is the prettiest chair I've ever seen.

All of this burlap & linen, ahhhh.

What an amazing piece, would LOVE that in my craft room or anywhere!

I'm crazy about this patchwork on linen, reminds me of Rebecca Sower's work.

Hope you liked it!

Thanks to my friend Shellagh from Ticking & Toile for presenting me with the Sunshine award.  I am a huge fan of her blog, if you want insane I-candy check her out! I don't know how she does it, but Shellagh's posts just make me feel cozy & warm.

The sunshine award is given to bloggers whose positivity & creativity inspires others in the blog world.

(I am flattered that Shellagh thinks this about me, I try to make my blog upbeat & fun)
Here are the rules for accepting the award:
Put the logo in your post or on your blog.
Pass the award onto 12 bloggers & link the nominees within your post.
Let the nominees know by commenting on their blog.
Share the love & link to the person from whom you received this award.
Ok, this gives me a chance to put a shout out to some great ladies that are always very inspiring & positive, but it makes me feel a little funny because there are way more than 12 bloggers that I feel deserve this.
If I nominated you & your blog is award free, just know that I think your great!
One last thing.....

Is this not the coolest, most beautiful pillow ever??? Well Sissie is giving it away, just hop over to Sissie's Shabby Cottage to see how.

Oooooooooo, these images are incredible! I'm trying to put my finger on what it is about these that I love so much. UNIQUE pieces, lovingly worn, with handcrafted accents - and the white w/ neutrals never looks cluttered no matter how many items are in the shot. So gorgeous!!!
Congratulations on your award, Lisa, and thank you for thinking of lil me. :)
I hope your day is filled with joy! I'm off to go visit Sissie!

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your comment regarding my bedroom & the door! I really liked what you recommended & I HAD not thought of the ledge above the door w/ all the chippy stuff on it! Great idea! See, that's why this blogging is so fun ~ I love sharing ideas & inspiring each other! {{hugs}} :)
I can imagine what your room looks like w/ your triplets! wow! I had 2 girls a year apart & I sooo remember how they used to drag EVERYTHING into our room....books...dolls...strollers..artwork...crayons...movies...not to mention blankies, binkies & such!!
Oh but don't you think 4 is THE best age??? I think kids are their absolute sweetest at that special age! I so miss it!
You are amazing doing what you do w/ your arms so full!!
Take care!
