Baskets big & small

I have been making little baskets to give to friends & to sell. I love putting together Easter baskets for my kids, picking things that are special to each one. And I loved getting my Easter surprise when I was little. So who says we're too old for Easter baskets?

These little goodie baskets started out as 6 pack egg cartons.  Painted, stained & stuffed with goodness.

A pocket for hidden treasures.

Decoupaged prism's,

lace, flowers & bling, oh my!

Adorned with vintage buckles & satin ribbon.

And I'm obsessed with making these little resin bobble charm thingies.

I got a little inpatient & opened this one too soon, see the goo?
There are so many things you can do with them.

This one has string & beads inside.  I'm working on a bundle of these charms for my etsy shop.
I embellished a tag with this one.

Now the news you all want to hear.
First let me say, from the bottom of my heart how much I appreciate the comments that you left for me, I am working my way down the list & have visited so many cool blogs.  I made some great new friends, from as close as Haltom City (next door), & as far away as the Netherlands. Amazing. I wish I more to give-away but for now the winner of my Thank you give-away basket is..............
Please contact me with your address Tracy & I'll send it to you.

Everything you do is over the top amazing :).....I of course will have to STEAL your idea(with your permission of course) and make Easter baskets for my teenagers :)

Also...the resin photo charms...is that a kit...was wanting to embellish...a few flea market items but have searched
craft stores and do not know what to look for. Another question...do you use a regular printer when you print your images ?

I have printed images on fabric..and card stock...even photo paper~have not tried vellum yet~....my images always have lines. Hubby says it is because we need more ink. I seem to go through SOOO much ink! Maybe I need a better printer?

Thanks for sharing all of your lovelies with us :)

I just love the idea of the egg cartons as the gift boxes (I always try to come up with something that I can reuse, I used them as my dogs tresure hunt toy and to planting seeds in to them)... But your idea is so sweet, I hope you dont mind but I just have to give it a try for my kids this year.

And the bottom picture with the tag with the baby, thats really beautiful. Cant wait to see what you are coming up with next.

Cheers,

Mari
