Winter garden

This cold & rainy weather has left me longing for some green in my life.
So I picked up at couple of baby ferns & planted my first garden of the year.

I embellished it with a tiny frame,

a resin charm, key & some lace.

Then I made one for a friend.

Then the most wonderful thing happened,

the gloomy rain turned into beautiful white snow!

So pretty. I have never thought about embellishing a plant container the way you have. You clever girl. So petty.

Wow, those are so gorgeous! What a lucky friend.

I've been helping my son make terrariums to sell at a little market. I've had spring fever something fierce and bought blueberry and blackberries to try when it gets warmer and I am sprouting pumpkin seeds because I heard they get really big if you start them in February!

Thanks so much for that post,
Melissa

Oh this garden looks so cute. I wish I was the friend getting the other one :)
Oh by the way, I do have the mannie that was only $58, but how do I get some of the moisture stains to fade a bit. Also, I think mine looks like bigger size model than yours. Can I display it like you all are??It is a Wolf form - printed with 1969 and the #48? Do these mean anything? My daughter told me I got ripped off. Of course, she is only 15, Ha ha.

I am glad you were not left out of getting some of this pretty white stuff :)

I am now a follower of your blog and will be putting you on my blog roll.
Thank you for your inspiration on a very gloomy day :)
I hope you will visit my blog and maybe this will even help me kick it up a notch or two and be more interesting
