Birds, Lace & a Tease!

My newest tattered collage.
This piece just told me what it wanted to be.

All I had to do was listen.

The bird is ivory, I posted about it here

Resin coated paper, & layers of lace.

It's been busy around here lately. Lots of projects, from Paper Cowgirls to swaps.   I have so much I want to show you, but I gotta wait for just a little while.....

Okay, I'll show you just a little.  A tease for a friend!

I love everything in your collage..especially the Bird (but I don't need any new ideas for anything new to work on LOL)
I have a lot of irons in the fire too right now and keep finding more...should have thought of them last winter when we were having nasty weather :)

You collage is fantastic, Lisa! I love the idea with that watch glass and the sheet music has such a cool look. I first thought you had used beeswax.
There must be a lot of chirp in your house with all the birds around and there will be even more soon as you know already. The only reason you know that is because my teaser has shown you sooooooooooo much! And now look at yours! Not fair ;-)!
No, it's not a sock on that cone but I like the idea and will save the winter socks that have holes instead of throwing them away.
Good night, girl and have sweet dreams about birds or your postman bringing a package :-)!
Big hugs,
Julia

That's not nice:)...just kidding...I love the project you showed...so cute!

How are the kids? Our triplets had their first bout of stomach flu this last week...all happened when I was tied up with my daughter so I was unavailable to help...luckily my mom is close too so she was able to help...I hear it was quite an experience!

THANK you for the sweet words and prayers for my family...

Lisa this piece took my breath away! I want to be you when I grow up. An artist! I love everything you do!
Are those little ones feeling better? I hope so. Allergies are so tuff to deal with.
It would be a dream come true if you could craft with me. You see, I'm collage challenged, but I have a friend who is helping me out with it. I just think I try too hard and then I create a blockage in the brain.lol

Your collage is beautiful! I love working with resin paper. It is messy but, so worth it. You should have seen it when we had 15 in a class with all of us with wet resin paper drying everywhere!!!! Just one person working on sheets spread out is so much better. :)
Love all the lace you used in this piece. Precious! Thanks for the call today. Still couldn't find those bags even at The Container Store. I bought zip type bags which are heavier & not as clear. But, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO over these that I don't care. HUGS! Charlene
