Sunday, January 30

Please, just 8 hours!

January kicked my butt!
The flu arrived around the 1st & still won't leave.
I'm not operating on many cylinders these days.
I'm working on some things for upcoming workshops,
But when your sleep deprived you do weird things.
Like cut up cute pictures.
Wax them onto pages.

Wrap them up like little mummies.
And then set fire to them!

I need more sleep!

So now I know the secret to your creativity- sleep deprivation. I loved them before, but adding the little bits and pieces of textures makes them even more interesting- you've created a whole new genre- mummified art.

Asleep or awake...they still won't let me play with scissors here at the home. I wonder how they'd feel about a flame thrower...hmmm!

Lisa, you create amazing art even when you sleepwalk!!!! Wow, I love these!
So sorry about the flu bug that has taken up permanent residence at your house. I kindda remember what that was like when all of mine were younger.(no, I think I have blocked it out) One would come home with it and lovingly give it to the next, and then the next and on and on and on.
sending healing hugs your way...

The kids have been sick here too. I feel like I haven't put in a full days work or been on a schedule in a few weeks.
