Pretty pictures for a grey day

The weather since Christmas has been cold, grey & rainy.
Perfect weather for hanging out inside & recharging my creative energy.
Yesterday I spent a great deal of couch time in front of the fire looking at some winter white eye candy.

Love my European publications.

This makes me want to just rip out my carpet & paint the floors white.
Somehow I don't think my concrete sub-floors would look at cool!
And speaking of creative inspiration.
Remember I hinted at a new project??

I'm so excited to be involved with Miss Mary Green's latest collaboration!
4 different artists, sharing 4 different books.
Hope Wallace Karney, Lenna Andrews, Mary & I each have our own style & approach to creating wonderful art books.

Here's a peak at part of mine.
Go visit Mary to find out more & see the beautiful pages she's gathered.
One last thing......
did you hear?!!!
I am so happy & proud for Dawn!
I cannot wait to see her amazing art in the pages of Pam Carriker's book Art at the Speed of Life.

Hi Sweetie
It is snowing here today, so it is a low energy day for me... I am curled up with my cup of green tea and my fresh copy of Somerset Life...
I want to tell you how wonderful you are and how much I enjoyed your article. You are such an amazing talent and I so enjoy our friendship.
Blessings to you today

Hi Lisa, Thanks for showing those pages from Country Living. White floors? You would have to put up a sign, "no shoes allowed!"

I just signed up for the class! I think it will be fun to learn some different styles and techniques. Have admired you and Mary for some time and look forward to meeting the other artists. Love a class that I can complete on my own time too if life gets too busy. Of course, I'll try to keep up and enjoy the blog participation. Love these rainy day pics you have shared!

Hi Lisa,
Hope your new year has started off well. There is nothing like day dreaming through a lovely decor magazine and that edition of country living looks dreamy.
White floors in my house would soon be gray and brown with kitty hair! LOL!

Would be nice though.
hugs
Sissie

The weather has been YUCK! Not good for potty training a short little puppy. She's not fond of dragging her belly in the cold wet frozen grass. I wouldn't be either!

Love you sneek peek. I will have to check out the site. I just got the post from our November Bottle Class posted today. I'm not behind much!!!!! Yeah right. HUGS!

All kinds of wonderful things happening for my favorite girls (you and Dawn). I am so excited for you guys. When you're famous, you'll still remember me right??!!
I loved my new British Country Living. The American mags had better get their acts together, or I'm giving in to the Europeans.hehe
I'm pretty much only buying a couple US ones other than going broke on the Somerset pubs.
Your artwork is crazy gorgeous Lisa!
hugs to you...

Wow I kept looking at the cover and thought it looked nothing like the Country Living I had seen. I let my sub run out. Now I just want that British one. I think I can get it at Borders?
Thanks for the inspiration. I want to paint the floor white too!

Whoever had that white floor had no kids. Or dogs. But man, it sure is pretty.
