If one's good......

I think I'm finished packing for Birdsong.
I'm bringing about 10 boxes of vintage goodies for the vendor sale.
My junking mantra has always been, if ones good then five are better!

I spent about 3 years picking up wool sweaters from thrift stores & felting them.
Someone gave me a couple dozen very old & damaged Pendelton work shirts.
So I felted those too.
I made a camping quilt with some of them, I blogged about it here.
(on a side note: I can't believe how good my pictures were in that post. What happened? Could it be the duct tape holding my camera together is a bad thing?)

I'm making little wool bundles to take, it looks like I'll have enough for my etsy shop too.

My baskets of lace are over flowing so it's time to share.

How about some cool metal?
Got some of that.

I'm a sucker for cases,  boxes, & trunks of all sizes.
These are filled with all kinds of good stuff!

While I was packing & pricing, the boys were repairing retaining walls.

Philip helped his Dad all day.

What happened?
Seriously, last week I was crawling on the floor in the dark looking for his Binky.
Now he's wielding a jackhammer.

Now girl...don't you go selling anything I would want! Seriously...is there room in a suitcase for me 'cause I'm so green with envy I now go by the name Kermit!
Check out the six pack on that guy! Love a man who's not afraid of power tools...especially when they are cutie patooties!
Have a great time and keep that foot elevated.
XOXO
Deb
P.S. According to RobUhLyn...everything is better when duct tape is involved!

Lol, he looks so tiny (but plenty manly Dad), especially in that last picture. He may be off the binky but no worries Mom he's not moving to college just yet. Oh but time sure does fly....

Love your bundles of everything! I wish I was there!

Ten boxes of stuff- geez, when I do a show I usually only have 7 or 8. Can't wait to see what you brought, but I know its all going to be cool.

You have your own jack hammer and an industrial heat gun? Love of power tools is a family affair!

You are going to have a great time. Could I be jealous?

I loved that age when my son was interested in helping with everything. Then the teen age years began... who knew there so many more important things to do!

I'm obsessed with Vintage Fabrics and Vintage Luggage too... but mine aren't nearly so neatly and beautifully organized as yours! That Image of the hangerful of Vintage Lace had me swooning...
your Mantra is so like mine, one is never enough and too much is just enough...
