One of the great things about vacations is finding new places to spend my money shop.
I found some awesome antique shops in Pueblo, Colorado. They have a darling historic downtown area, in case you ever go there. Kevin was a sweetie & took the kids to the park so I could do some power shopping!
I have a real weakness for celluloid albums,
especially if they are priced well..........
& filled with amazing photos! The cover & spine of this album were damaged, hence the low price. Good for me, I prefer it all falling apart!
This might be a good time to tell you this is going to be a long post.
And filled with lots of eye candy!
Do I have your attention???
They are doll shoes actual size......1 & a half inches long.
The leather loafers make me Crazy,
What is it about tiny things that makes my heart skip a beat?
These shoes are a couple of inches longer. I really need to stop buying baby shoes, but I can't.
2 more for my collection.
And wait till you see this.....
Most of this came from one persons booth!
And most of it was priced at $1 or $2 apiece.
Beautiful bigger crocheted pieces.
I really love the flesh colored ones, I think I will hoard those for awhile.
This little box was $7, the note from someones Aunt Anna still enclosed.
See that piece in the back? The sequined trim?? That is my favorite find of the day. I love just all these little bits.
From lace to rust. This lot came from one dealer too. The prices were really cheap great.
I freaked out when I found these pins, they will be perfect on a tattered collage.
I saw this beat up looking box sitting on a shelf, opened it & discovered it was filled with ephemera dating back to 1920-40.
It may have been an 'insipration' box, there's a bunch of tracings & sketches inside.
And finally, this isn't new but don't you love it?
My niece wanted to stop at Urban Outfitters, their clothes are about 20 years too small young for me but they have some cute accessories. I couldn't resist this lace basket.
So there it is, my vacation souvenirs!
Hope your weekend was fun & cooler than mine was.
(105 degrees!!!!!!!!!)
How many more days until Fall????

Amazing finds! Beautifully photographed too! Those shoes are especially divine. And those photos. That lace. WOW! ~ Angela
Well LIsa, it certainly looks like you had a fun and successful vacation/shopping trip! I love the lace of course, but really love all those old metal buttons...fun!
Glad you had a good time. I'm so looking forward to the Fall too. It's too hot! :-)
oh!!!! you found the best treasures EVER!!!!
You made a MAJOR SCORE GIRLFRIEND!!!! You have all the luck! Colorado does have some amazing shops. My brother (Precious) was born in Pubelo. It sure has changed from what I remember as a kid. That's the last place we lived before moving to Texas & this "charming" temperature... Did you get to go see KC? We see the cardiac surgeon today so hope we get a date set. Call me when you have the kids down so we can chat. I miss you! Charlene
Wow, your treasures are beautiful!! and I'm ready for some relief from the heat too...108 degrees yesterday in Greenville!
Hi Lisa:
I love all the wonderful things you found! So beautiful, my friend.
xoxo
Donna
WOW! You definitely scored; I love it all but, I WANT that velvet box!
Mmmm....all that flea goodness...how fun! I love it all but that collar box et al...yummy!
:)
Girl, you have the knack for finding fabulous things like nobody's business!!! I need to come up there to visit you just to go shopping! Something tells me you know all the best spots in your own town too! I'm so glad you had a good time on your vacation. There's nothing better than finding treasures while away from home. They always seem better than the ones we find locally. (Even though they are usually not)
Have a great week!
xo,
Karen
Why didn't you swing down this way, pick me up and bring me with you????
Sheesh, I missed out on some GOOD stuff. I would've even babysat the kids. NEXT time.
Oooooo, I recognize that cuff collar!
Oh, and word on the street is D Day is tomorrow for the phone, yay!
XO,
Anne
I love your post of all your goodies. It looks alot like some of the stuff I went after this summer only in Utah antique malls and shops. I just love going into these types of places, and it is so much fun going when you are somewhere other than your own hometown.
Darn! Pueblo is where we have to go when we have to shop- You were so close!! Well if you ever get up through this way again drop me a note- I would love to meet another blogging friend!!
Looks like you found some great deals!! Did you go to Florence by any chance? They have some adorable antique stores there and their prices are great too!

Lisa, you found some great things on your trip. I can top your 105...it was 111 in McKinney on Sunday and 110 at my house the day before. It was almost too hot to even be anywhere other than in the A/C.
If you're ever near Castle Rock, CO (outside of Denver), stop by and see us at The Barn Antiques
www.thebarnantiquescastlerock.com - Looks like I need to make a trip to Pueblo now : )
Your finds are GREAT! I *heart* those vintage photos Lisa =) If you would see what I've been working on, you'd understand....but that is for a post in the future *wink*.
Oh My Lisa - those finds are GREAT - love those little shoes and all the lace.... sign
I just love everything you got. Can´t wait to see all those fabolous creations this will turn into.
Wishing you a wonderful day
xo Tina
LISA my,my,my
how do you do that sweetie? is there a special way,-or are you just in wonderland over there across the ocean??? I`ts like a dream, and one that would never come true here, in my little Denmark-and if so it would cost hundreds of dollars!!
So fantastic dear friend, love it all, but mostly the shoes,---so very sweet, and all the laces, boxes, and the photoes,- no,no-just one word fits here- ALL- is perfect finds, and very beautifull.
Big hugs, and have a happy evening sweet Lisa.

Lisa --what a great way to start the week with all your loot! I know your heart must have been racing when you discovered each find (mine does!), and then when you see the price.... ahhhh, bliss. Can't wait to see what you'll create!
Hmmm....might any of this loot be ending up in your shop? Wow! What a haul all right! Definitely worth the trip, wasn't it! 'Way to go,girlfriend! Many, many, many future projects contained in those goodies!
Hugs,
Diane
The shoes, the shoes, the SHOES, THE SHOES! Just too cute- but I love it all- excellent use of power shopping time.

Oh my head is spinning just looking at all those good finds!! Lucky Lucky you!! Susan
Unbelievable finds! It's everything I love...now I wonder how long it would take me to get to Pueblo????
Jane
OMyGOODNESS!!!!! Lisa!!! So much gorgeousness! I'm so in love with it all girl...you definitely hit the motherlode!! Looks like you may need to hoard all of this goodness for awhile too :) I think you're the junk whisperer as well! hugs and love, Dawn
lovely, lovely finds....
any of these would be great to find in all by themselves, but all of them? good score!
Oh my goodness! What beautiful treasures you found. I love your pictures...it's like I want to reach in and grab everything. I especially love the bits and pieces of hardware and the old photos. I want to shop where you shop. Happy hunting:)
Wow..I also have a weekness for OLD Baby or Child shoes..What a great find. I can only hope that I find a sale 1/2 that good some day. What a cool vacation :)
OH Lisa...you DID hit the mother lode! How fun to visit a shop and find all of that just waiting for you!!
I guess if Kevin had anticipated that you would clean out the shops, he wouldn't have let you go shopping all by your own, lol. You scored big time, Lisa! Don't you think, this is just too much lace for one girl? I'm sure you can't even close your lace suitcase anymore. I should take the next flight and help you out by taking some home ;-). The pins are cool and I also love the metal pieces, the box with the collars and of course the photos.
Your Halloween project is awesome. I can imagine that it hadn't been so easy to come up with this in the summer time. I always find it difficult to create something for a season that is some months away. The Paper Cowgirls will love your project!
Have a great Tuesday, Sweetie!
Hugs to you,
Julia
PS: I showed off your pillow to my friends yesterday and they just loved it :-).
It's not any cooler here Girl! Thak goodness my neighbors are away and we can swim:) I love everything in your post. Shame on you for making me drool so early in the morning! Love, Jamie
Hello Lisa,
I am now a follower of yours and love the velvet colar box. You really have a great site with all your old and tattered.
Thank you for your visit and comment to treasure.
will be back real soon.
xx
Dore
Lisa, are you completely black and blue from pinching yourself? That box of old collars is the best thing I've seen lately. Wow the mother load for sure my friend. And the best part is you will turn it all into fabulous treasures.
Hugs,
Shelley
Just shoot me now....I want half of that...
loved how you crossed out the word 'cheap'. In one of my past lives I was a wine steward and we would say a wine was 'affordable', not 'cheap'. We would also call others 'pricey' rather than saying 'expensive'. Just a little trivia for you.
OMG ~ What a Fabulous Haul..... at least with the heat so high, you could shop in the A/C & Stay Cooler
You Certainly have the Perfect Souvenirs from your trip, I Love that Velvet Box~ Thanks for Sharing Your Treasures with us.....
Wow!! Be still my heart!! Those laces are gorgeous!! You really SCORED on your vacation!! Lucky girl!!
What a haul!!! I can't believe all the laces you found for such great bargains. Real crochet lace is getting to be scarce as hens teeth here, I have lace envy, but, I do not begrudge one of my favorite artist her stash! Thanks for sharing the eye candy, it was sweet indeed!
What a delicious sight for my end of the days eyes! I am in awe of the bounty of good things you found. The lace, the box, the note, the wee shoes are so enchanting!
Blessings
~ Katie
...drug behind a truck...you're so funny!! Hey,it's cooling off...ONLY 106 today!
What an amazing haul!! I don't have to tell you I love the photo album, looks like it was chock full with photographs.
Must have been one amazing place to shop! Have fun with your goodies.
Oh, the lace! THE LACE! I can hardly breathe. I have to walk away slowly. It's just too pretty.
Please pardon my drool.
Laraine
Hi Lisa! I was just in Colorado myself, not far from Pueblo! You know, I never even thought of going there to shop and now I wish I had! You found a great place! The next time I'm in Colorado Springs I think I will have to make a trip south for the day! Love all the lace (everywhere I go they seem to want an arm & leg for it...great finds!) and those safety pins...I've never seen any like that before! Anxious to see what you do with them!
Thanks for sharing all your wonderful treasures! Have a blessed day!
Lori
Wow ~ Look at all the pretties that you scored on!!! Thanks so much for letting us shop vicariously though your post!
My sis used to make those baskets by starching doilies. I've been wanting to try starching and foofing some every Easter and never do it. Guess I should just go to Urban Outfitters and snag one to foof!
Did you buy all this for me?
oh...
you shouldn't have...
(yes you should have)
I really missed you while you were gone. I'm glad you are back :)
And, being comment #50, I see I wasn't the only one missing my Lisa Marie!!!!!
:)
you know my address...i'll be waiting~
I love, love all your gorgeous finds and I know you will put them to good use. You lucky girl!!!!
Debby
What FABULOUS treasures you found!!! I love finding a great store with great prices. And I love that paper covered box of drawers in your photos - so shabby and chic!
