New Class

It's time for my 3rd 'at home' workshop.
(sure wish I could think of a better name than 'at home' workshop)

I love embellishing beautiful old bottles with vintage goodies.

Selecting the perfect topper.

Creating an entire piece of art around one favortie scrap .

Finishing it off with the perfect detail.
I just love making them.

If you live in the DFW area I'd love for you to join me on Friday May 24th.
Since the workshops are at my house space is limited to 10.
You can read details & sign up in my etsy shop.

I had a great birthday/Mother's Day.
I just love having an entire week devoted just to me:)
If your out of peat pot ideas just go check out my kids classrooms.
They made the cutest little blooming pots for Mother's Day.

They also made these little booklets listing the many reasons I'm special.

Oh Lily, such precious little girl, knows just how to melt Mom's heart.
These books are so sweet.

Did I say sweet?
I meant to say honest.
It is no lie that Philip thinks I'm nicest when I let him 'by' something.

Ok, maybe honest isn't the right word either.
Don't you love the Olivia Newton -John headband Owen drew on me!
Thats Wii Fit next to me.

Ok, I don't know what to say about this, but I'm going to take it as a compliment.
I got some awesome gifts from my friends which I'll post about later, but before I sign off I have to show you this!

My fabulous in- laws found this on the street at 10 o'clock at night.
Then they drove 10 miles to get a furniture dolly and wheeled it down the street to their garage.
(wish I had this on film for youtube)
I don't know which is better, a 100 year old upright grand, or the thoughtfulness & effort it took to get it for me.

It's resting in my garage right now awaiting a face- lift.
I hope you all had a great Mother's Day too.

I not only wish I lived next to you so I could take your class and have you teach me to create such beautiful bottles, but also so I could have such darling kids playing in my garden and having little tea parties with Lily (and you of course :) Their Mother's Day books made me laugh. You are so blessed my sweet friend.

You are so creative and inspirational. I love what you have done with the old bottles. They look classy and sophisticated now. All the mother related things are so cute. I cannot believe someone found a piano abandoned on the street like that. Good luck for you.
